  1. The patreon issue and the silencing of Richard Dawkins is nuts. The left is full blown insane and is violating free speech left and right. They are hypocrites. Americans need to totally and completely shun and boycott anything related to this. Stop giving these corps, universities money

  2. This podcast, and only this podcast, forced me to HAVE to subscribe to Sam at SamHarris.org. I'm done giving my money to the corporate run, and the suicidal leftist media.

  3. Sam, you're of a character I'd like to emulate. Which of your works would be most suited to acquiring the character building tools that you used during your neurological enlightening? If that fails, I can always just print out a mask and wear you on my face. No, that's not creepy. I'm a bit tall so maybe I'll get my femurs shortened, too. Still not creepy. I'll dye my hair. Now I've gone too far.

  4. A short caveat regarding Dawkins. Apparently no one "deplatformed" him, merely the Berkley radio station which invited him in the first placed canceled the meeting due to his stance on Islam.

  5. You talked a lot about the damage of the President lying. How would you call Obama`s wage gap speeches and the inability to say the words Islamic terrorism?
Do you think some of the people that voted for Trump ignore his lies, because he`s not the first to lie?

  6. Words like "phenotype" and "genome" are clearly dog-whistling to racist white supremacists. Dawkins and Southern should have reconsidered spouting their honest and nuanced positions in favour of more mundane and uncontroversial positions.

  7. And if Sam had not have crashed the discussion with Jordan Peterson due to not letting him put forth temporary presumptions before proceeding, he'd have gotten a much better version of this same discussion.

  8. Lauren Southern is one of the more reasonable conservative entities. It's hard to get decent rational minded conservatives that don't believe in some sort of conspiracy or have strong religious views (she's still religious, but generally not to a particularly problematic degree).

Certainly there's still issues I have with her, but they aren't as crazy as most other conservative people seem to have. Like some issues is how she generalizes groups, or bends facts or even lies such as when she stated anarchist protestors were anti-Trump and implied they somehow had leftist or anti-conservative views.
