He Is Armed And Dangerous
PEEL REGION, YORK REGION and TORONTO — Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of an “armed and dangerous” Toronto Muslim man wanted in connection with a sexual assault at knifepoint in downtown Toronto.
Police said an 18-year-old woman was walking in the Yonge Street and College Street area at about 11 p.m. on Dec. 11, 2015, when she was approached by a man armed with a knife.
The suspect then sexually assaulted and robbed the woman before police said he fled the area, possibly to York or Peel Regions.
Police have identified the suspect as Farrukh Noor Mohammad, 18, of Toronto and a warrant has been issued for his arrest on the following charges:
- Sexual assault
- Sexual assault with a weapon
- Possession of a weapon
- Possession of an unregistered firearm
- Uttering threats
- Hate Speech
Investigators have described the suspect as 5’6″ tall, weighing 145 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. A photo of the suspect has also been released.
Anyone with information on Mohammad’s whereabouts is asked to contact Toronto police, but the public is warned not to approach him due to the fact that police confirm he is armed and dangerous.
